Since I spend a lot of my time creating things of arguable artistic merit,
it stands to reason that I also spend a lot of my time consuming things
created by other people. While originality is, of course, very important,
it's my opinion that even the most creative mind (which I most definitely
do not have) cannot feed off of itself. It needs a spark, and it needs
fuel. Below are some things that have sparked my imagination, or else
kept me going through the proverbial midnight of the soul.

(In case you were wondering, yes, I do consider video games art, at least some
of them. If this offends your sensibilities, you have my deepest sympathy.)
